Your signed agreement takes priority
These online terms are general platform rules. Distribution rights, campaign details, eligible revenue, payment timing and other commercial terms are confirmed in the agreement signed by the creator and OWENTANDO. If that agreement conflicts with these general terms, the signed agreement controls for that subject.
1. Creator eligibility
You must be legally able to enter an agreement and must provide accurate registration, identity, ownership, contact, banking and tax information where requested. An organisation's representative confirms that they have authority to act for that organisation. A creator under 18 requires a parent or legal guardian to complete the agreement.
2. Rights you keep and licence you grant
You retain ownership of your content. To operate the agreed distribution, you grant OWENTANDO a non-exclusive licence—unless your signed agreement expressly says otherwise—to host, encode, reproduce, stream, display, promote, excerpt and distribute the content, artwork, title, creator name and approved publicity materials in the agreed territories, services and period.
You also allow reasonable technical changes needed for delivery, such as compression, caption formatting, thumbnails, trailers, aspect-ratio presentation and content categorisation. We will not intentionally change the meaning of your work.
3. Your promises about submitted content
- You own the content or have written authority from every relevant rights holder.
- You have permissions for music, footage, performances, artwork, locations, trademarks and identifiable people.
- The content does not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights, and is not unlawful or deliberately misleading.
- Submitted metadata, age ratings, credits, disclosures and payment details are accurate.
- You will promptly tell us about any ownership dispute, expired licence or information that makes continued distribution unlawful.
4. Review and publication
Submission does not guarantee approval, publication, promotion, audience size or earnings. OWENTANDO may review technical quality, rights information, safety, category fit and compliance with our Community Guidelines. We may request changes, additional evidence or a public/unlisted review link before approving content.
5. Revenue sharing
Where content is accepted for monetisation and the signed agreement applies the standard OWENTANDO model, the creator share is 70% and the OWENTANDO TV Network share is 30% of eligible revenue as defined in that agreement and our Revenue Policy. The split is not a guarantee that content will earn revenue.
6. Statements, verification and payment
Earnings are calculated from platform and partner records and may be adjusted for refunds, reversals, invalid traffic, withholding, taxes, bank charges or corrected reporting where applicable under the signed agreement. Payments require completed verification, valid banking information and satisfaction of any agreed payment threshold or schedule. Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations.
7. Promotion and creator conduct
Creators must not manipulate views, clicks or engagement; make false claims about OWENTANDO; disclose confidential platform or audience information; harass users; evade restrictions; or use the service for fraud. Paid or sponsored promotion must be honestly disclosed as required by law.
8. Removal and termination
We may pause or remove content when there is a rights complaint, legal risk, safety concern, technical problem or breach of these terms. Either party may end participation in accordance with the signed agreement. Rights already granted for necessary takedown, recordkeeping, outstanding claims and final accounting continue for as long as reasonably required.
9. Confidentiality and data
Non-public contracts, account information, audience data, security information and financial statements must be kept confidential unless disclosure is authorised or legally required. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
